“That thing needs to haul a bunch of crap.”
Me neither, but this guy I found on
T
he 101 freeway outside of LA did.
I get that it has a metric crap-ton of torque, but it still caught me off guard, especially since they are still rather uncommon in the area.
I don’t know why his wing is up— we were in stop and don’t go traffic.
If anyone has seen something more bizarre towing a trailer, I want to see. I’ve also taken a video of a Smart towing a trailer full of pool supplies. I’ll try to turn it into a .gif and post it.

Do Supercharger stalls accommodate trailers? I bet not.

Well from the perpective of having lots of low end torque, it’s probably a great tow vehicle.
While you’re probably not gonna use it to tow things across the country, judging by it being a UHaul rental, it’s probably not on a long distance run.

For some reason, your pic looks like it’s from the ‘70s.

it has up to a 5000lb tow rating. It’s bizarre only because the car is rare.
Here’s something from the archives that’s relevant.

So far most Telsa drivers here are dicks, I did see a dark metallic green on an S and it was a pretty color. I’d rather have a Quattroporte that color.

Missed being able to take a picture, but I saw a Fiat 500 towing a 4x8' box trailer recently. Someone I work with has a hitch on an MR2 though I’ve never seen him towing anything. I assume it is for a hitch-mount bike rack.
